Southern collard greens

  • Collard greens
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Broth
  • Tomato chunks
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Saute chopped onion and garlic in olive oil. Add cut collard greens and broth/water. Let simmer covered for 40 minutes. Add tomato chunks and let cook a few additional minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
