Soupe à l’oignon

  • 4 onions
  • butter
  • flour
  • garlic
  • 1l broth
  • 50g Comté cheese
  • stale bread

Cook onions for 15 minutes with butter. Add flour and garlic. Add broth and cook for another 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Alternate bread, cheese, bread, soup and cheese in a terracotta clay pot. Broil for a few minutes.
